I started playing with Vine this week. Here is my first video:

If you have not heard of Vine yet please allow me to explain. Vine is similar to Twitter (and is now owned by Twitter) but for video instead of text. Using the app (iOS only at this point) you can post a 6 second video. That’s all there is to it. Users can stop and start the recording which allows for all kinds of little tricks including stop motion effects. Do you like cats? Well let me tell you, Vine has cats. Everyone wants to post videos of their cats. What is it with the Internet and cats anyway?
After trying out the service I found another, 3rd party website called Vinepeek.com that shows an uninterrupted stream of Vine videos. It took about 1 minute of watching this feed for me to see my first guy on guy sex act. Vine is supposedly working to filter the videos a little better but watch this feed at your own risk. It is like the old west on their right now so be prepared. Honestly though, that was the only penis I have seen on Vinepeek at this point. Maybe I just got really unlucky. The corollary to this, however, is that it is NSFW. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
I am not sure where this is going but I think it could produce some amazing stuff during big world events.
Here is my take on the Super Bowl.
